Your files in Creative Cloud remain in your account. If you cancel or move to a free plan, you keep access to your files locally and in the cloud, but cloud storage is reduced to the free limit. If you are over the limit, syncing stops and you may need to delete or download files. Apps that require a paid license will stop working. Adobe may delete excess cloud data after a grace period according to their policies.
You can install Creative Cloud apps on multiple computers, but you can be signed in and actively use them on only two devices at a time, and only one can be used at a time. You can sign out on one device to activate on another. Enterprise or education licenses may have different rules.
Updates are not strictly mandatory, but new features, services, and compatibility fixes are delivered through updates. You can keep or install previous versions from the Creative Cloud desktop app, though older versions may lose support or access to some services. Security or OS compatibility updates are recommended.
Adobe collects technical data such as device type, OS version, app version, performance and crash logs, and feature usage metrics. This data helps improve reliability, personalize experiences, and plan product development. You can manage certain privacy and analytics settings in your Adobe account and application preferences. Content of your files is not used for training unless you opt in where applicable.
